The process of developing project specific conditions is an integral part of the environmental assessment process for major projects in B.C. The EAO will discuss the steps, processes, and tools they use to identify appropriate mitigation measures for key potential project-effects and turn those into measurable and enforceable conditions.

Development of Conditions from a Project Perspective

Tyler Gray, PGL Consultants Ltd.

Tyler specializes in environmental assessments and related regulatory processes across many industries and works extensively on behalf of First Nations throughout western Canada. Tyler will share some perspectives on approval conditions based on recent experience working on an Indigenous-led EA for a major south coast project.
