The Talk: As Canada’s leading integrated energy company Suncor is focused on responsible growth and creating sustainable energy solutions. With this focus on sustainable development we are focused on managing our business for the long term by continually improving our environmental, social and economic performance all while understanding and navigating the complex, and ever-changing world of environmental policy and regulation.
How do we ensure we are ready for policy and regulatory change? How do we manage new expectations and new legislative and regulatory processes to ensure we meet our business needs and timelines? How will sustainability be incorporated into new policy and regulation? In the midst of major legislative changes that have included Bill C-69, Bill C-68, and Bill C-48 we will share some valuable experiences and examples of different ways of working and navigating this new and challenging policy and regulatory landscape.
