What:   Presentation regarding the draft Technical Guidance for Assessing Cumulative Environmental Effects Under the CEAA 2012

Participants are invited to review this document prior to the information session (link provided above).

Comments on this draft document being sought by June 30, 2015.

Presentation will cover:

  • CEAA 2012 and cumulative effects assessment
  • Agency guidance for assessing cumulative effects
  • Technical guidance content: Scoping, Analysis
  • Key differences between old and new guidance
  • Key best practices in assessing cumulative effects

Presentation will be followed by Q&A.

Natasha Anderson Bio:

Natasha Anderson is an Operational Policy Officer at the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency.  She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Impact Assessment from Concordia University in Montreal and is the lead officer in developing the Technical guidance for assessing cumulative environmental effects under CEAA 2012. She is also involved in the development and delivery of other guidance products related to implementation of CEAA 2012.
